But if y...No shouldnt be at all like peanut butter. But if you have already used it it might still be good. The layer will just be thin. I will rewrite that recipe. When you are blending the flour and butter and it seems to wet you have to keep adding flour till it starts forming up like breadcrumbs, or even the size of peas. Then blend in the brown sugar. There are some variables and some things you can control by changing the increments. Some people like a thin topping others like it thicker then the fruit layer.
